Everything you need to know before booking with Giova Studio

What types of photography do you offer?

We specialize in modern headshots, personal branding sessions, and editorial-style lifestyle imagery for creatives, professionals, and brands. Custom projects and brand campaigns are available upon request.

What are your session fees?

We offer three base options:

  • Mini Session: $399 – Great for quick updates or social content.

  • Half-Day Session: $699 – Includes multiple looks, light creative direction, and a mix of portraits and brand shots.

  • Full-Day Session: $1,299 – Designed for full brand storytelling. Includes pre-shoot planning, custom moodboard, detailed shot list, and on-location or studio options.

All sessions include a consultation, proof gallery, and a select number of fully retouched final images.

What’s included in the session fee?

Every session includes:

  • Creative direction + location guidance

  • Pre-session consultation

  • Access to a proofing gallery

  • A set number of final retouched images (based on your package)

  • Commercial usage license for your chosen images

  • Optional add-ons like rush delivery, additional edits, or hair/makeup referrals

How do I book a session?

Start by filling out the inquiry form on our Booking Page or emailing us directly at hello@giovastudio.com. We’ll schedule a consultation to discuss your vision and secure your date with a signed agreement and a 50% retainer fee.

What’s your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

To respect everyone’s time:

  • Retainers are non-refundable but transferable if you reschedule at least 7 days before your session.

  • Rescheduling with less than 7 days' notice will incur a $100 rescheduling fee.

  • No-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of the shoot forfeit the retainer.

We get that life happens—just reach out, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Can I reschedule if I’m sick or there’s an emergency?

Yes! Please let us know as soon as possible. We offer one courtesy reschedule if you’re unwell or facing an emergency.

How many images do I receive, and can I choose them?

Yes, you’ll receive a private proof gallery to select your favorite images. The number of final retouched photos depends on your package, but additional edits are always available à la carte.

Do you retouch the images?

Absolutely. Our retouching is high-end but natural — we enhance your best features without making you look overly airbrushed. Custom retouching requests can be discussed.

Can I bring outfit changes or props?

Yes! For half-day and full-day sessions, we recommend 2–4 outfits and props that represent your brand, lifestyle, or personality. We’ll guide you during the consultation.

Do you offer studio or on-location shoots?

Both! We work in studio, on location, or at your office/home — depending on your needs. We can also help scout spaces or rent a location that matches your aesthetic.

How long does it take to receive my final images?

Proofs are delivered within 5–7 business days, and final retouched images are sent within 7–10 business days after your selection. Rush delivery is available for an additional fee.

Do you travel?

Yes! Travel is available throughout the tri-state area and beyond. A travel fee applies for locations more than 30 miles from Union, NJ.
