Privacy Policy

‍ ‍

Effective date: July 29, 2026

‍ ‍

Introduction

‍ ‍

Giova Studio LLC ("we," "our," "us") values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you visit www.giovastudio.com (the "Website") or book a session with us.

‍ ‍

By using the Website, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

‍ ‍

Information you give us

‍ ‍

When you inquire, book, or correspond with us, we may collect:

‍ ‍

  • Name and business or firm name

  • Email address and phone number

  • Billing address

  • Session details, including your goals for the images and any accessibility or scheduling needs you choose to share

  • Payment information, which is processed by our payment provider and is never stored by us

‍ ‍

Information collected automatically

‍ ‍

When you visit the Website we may collect IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, and time spent on each page.

‍ ‍

Analytics

‍ ‍

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages visitors find useful and how people arrive at the Website. Google Analytics sets cookies on your device and collects your IP address, the pages you view, how long you spend on them, your approximate location, and your device and browser type. This information is processed by Google and may be transferred to and stored on servers outside your country.

‍ ‍

You can prevent this collection by installing the Google Analytics opt out browser add on, available from Google, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. Google's own privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

‍ ‍

How we use your information

‍ ‍

  • To respond to inquiries and communicate about your session

  • To prepare proposals, agreements, and invoices

  • To deliver your images and provide access to your gallery

  • To send occasional follow up messages about your session or future sessions, which you may opt out of at any time

  • To meet our legal and tax obligations

‍ ‍

Photographs

‍ ‍

Photographs taken during a session are handled under your signed agreement, not under this policy. We retain copyright in all images. Your rights to use them, and any permission you give us to display them in our portfolio, are set out in your session agreement or subject release. You may withdraw portfolio permission at any time by emailing us.

‍ ‍

Sharing your information

‍ ‍

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with:

‍ ‍

  • Service providers who help us operate, including our payment processor, scheduling tool, gallery host, and email provider

  • Professional advisors such as our accountant, where necessary

  • Authorities, where required by law

  • A successor business, in the event of a sale or merger

‍ ‍

Cookies

‍ ‍

The Website uses cookies to function properly and, through Google Analytics, to measure traffic. You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may stop working if you do.

‍ ‍

Because Google Analytics sets cookies that are not strictly necessary, visitors from the European Union, the United Kingdom, and some other jurisdictions must be asked for consent before those cookies load. If you expect visitors from those regions, enable a cookie consent banner on the Website.

‍ ‍

Data retention

‍ ‍

We keep inquiry records for up to two years, and client records including agreements and invoices for seven years, as required for tax purposes. Image files are retained as described in your agreement.

‍ ‍

Your rights

‍ ‍

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email gg@giovastudio.com. We will respond within thirty days.

‍ ‍

Children

‍ ‍

The Website is not intended for anyone under eighteen, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. Where a session involves a subject under eighteen, a parent or guardian must sign on their behalf.

‍ ‍

Data security

‍ ‍

We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be fully secure.

‍ ‍

Third party links

‍ ‍

The Website may link to other sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

‍ ‍

Changes

‍ ‍

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted here with a revised effective date.
